Management of antibiotic resistance risk

The resistance to antibiotics represents today one of the most serious threats to global health.
To understand the mechanisms of resistance set up by bacteria in order to forestall them, SMALTIS offers you its Know-how.

Method
select resistant spontaneous mutants, assess their frequency of appearance, characterize the resistant mechanisms involved, identify mutations and rebuild regulation pathways leading to the increase in resistance.

The assessment of resistance to antibiotics may be performed on your strains. We may also use our own collections of characterized clinical strains, containing more than 40 000 bacterial strains from all around the world.
